Donating to FYS

Fidalgo Youth Symphony is a non-profit organization now in its 14th year of offering orchestral experience for talented young musicians in Skagit, Island and Snohomish counties. The Symphony consists of a youth orchestra, junior orchestra, and the sinfonette under the artistic direction of the talented and highly motivating Sharyn Peterson.

You can make a tax free donation to the Fidalgo Youth Symphony. Download the Donation Form

Contact the FYS President if you have questions. Thank you for your support!

Fidalgo Youth Symphony meets routine expenses (director, coaches, concert venues, publicity) with member tutition. This creates a just-in-time financing situation. To accommodate some of the non-routine expenses such as additional coaches, community outreach, tuition scholarships, or to purchase special instruments, we ask for donations. The Fidalgo Youth Symphony is a non-profit corporation and these donations are tax-deductible (send an email for 501(c)3 information). Email the board president, Julia Lee, if you have an employer who has a matching program.
